Many horse sim players often run into the conflict of whether they prefer realistic gameplay, or a more whimsical experience. Oftentimes, a sim game doesn’t cater to both of these styles in one game. Howrse effectively blends both genres into one smooth, beautifully designed sim.
This player has selected an Arabian as their first horse. Many breeds of both horses and ponies are available to choose from.
Horse colors vary by breed, each one illustrated with vibrant, beautiful colors. This Arabian colt, “Gatsby the Great”, is a Strawberry Roan.
During gameplay, you care for and choose your horse’s competitive specialties. You can train, show, and board- all at the click of a button in a very simple and efficient interface. A horse’s stats are displayed on their page, along with genetic information and the bonus mythological items applied to them. These mythological items purchased on the in-game “black market” give your horses special perks and powers. For example, the “Philosopher’s Stone” grants your horse immortality and the ability to breed for its entire life.
In addition to the horses we are familiar with, Howrse also offers the player the chance to own more interesting breeds. Pegasuses, Unicorns, Xanthoses, and Sleipnirs are a few of the many fantasy horses the game showcases. These rare breeds are hard to find, but have special perks or abilities.
Are you looking for a sim that has realistic stats and genetics, while still offering a touch of fantasy to feed your imagination? Howrse may be for you. |

**Just saying, Howrse does not have realistic genetics. Coat colors are generated randomly, and acquired traits can be passed on to offspring.
That being said, it does have a cool genetic potential feature, and numerous other neat things.

GoodMorning
I have an account on there. I really love it! They also have a great tutorial when you first sign up, and the game is really easy to navigate, something that I have not found in many horse sims.
