World Horse Ranking System
 By Ponybox   •   15th Jun 2010   •   7,341 views   •   30 comments
Back in April we broke the news in the article Ponybox LLC Creates World Horse Ranking System about Ponybox LLC developing a website that will allow you to enter your real show results and see how your horse ranks in the world. This world ranking system will be a 1st and it is set for release in the coming weeks.

How will it work? The new equestrian ranking website we are developing will allow you to create a profile and enter show stats for your horse. Your horse will then be ranked with all horses throughout the world. As you compete throughout the year you can monitor your performance against others worldwide. The algorithm we have developed will rank all horses as a group no matter what discipline you ride.

World Horse Ranking System

We have received a lot of questions concerning this new ranking system and how we are able to rank Barrel Racing against Dressage or Jumping. The system we developed uses a complex algorithm that allows us to perform this ranking in a fair way with validity checks to limit cheating or false information. The result is a simple world rank for your horse and the ability to track your horses rank as you compete throughout the year.

We originally set a release date of late May, but due to extended coding requirements we have pushed the release date a few weeks to the right. We are now looking at a late July launch.

If you show your horse or just have questions about this exciting new website please leave a comment here and I will do my best to answer your questions.
