A lot of dogs in Central Illinois have turned up missing. The majority of dogs that are missing are mixes that resemble purebreds and purebreds, so we are beginning to think people are stealing and selling them. I am now going to be a lot more careful with our 3 mutt rescues, which resemble purebreds.

Whew! Just contacted 3 breeders on the Paint server. One that bred Hequ's, one that bred Dulmen's, and one that bred Andalusians. Hequ's are way out of my budget, the Dulmen breeder hasn't had any foals as her foundies were still in foal, and the Andalusian breeder guaranteed the price to be under 13k and reserved. Can't wait til I figure out what the heck I'm gonna do ^^

Bleh. NOT looking forward to work tomorrow. Yes, I have a job. It's a dog shelter right down the road from me. I train the dogs under vocal commands before they go to their homes. I don't slap them, I say 'Bad dog' firmly if they do wrong, and 'Good dog' and give them a pat if they do right. This is Lilly, A dog we rescued on the road at 4 weeks. She's a Black Lab mix and I plan on adopting her when she's ready and training her under agility.
