Welcome to C e n t u r y P r i d e, home of some of the most elite Appaloosas on the server. Since 2009, Century Pride a.k.a. Rudel has been producing top notch Appaloosas from the early building blocks of this magnificent breed.

Here at CP, horses need to jump at least 87", foundation Appaloosas are the only exception. As for conformation, I try to keep mostly 40/40s, but I'm not that picky about it. I'm trying to only limit them to 40, but its a slow process. Another thing to note is that almost all of CPs horses are naturals. New DNA is added to foundies, to then be bred to current lines to incorporate them in, in a more convenient way. We actively cross-breed also to help keep the lines free from in-breeding and to keep a good variety of lines. Also items may be added, to future prospects to help the breed advance.

I start breeding mares at 15-17yrs, depending on how well jump-offs are going for them. By this age however, they should already be jumping 87"+, if not then they are retired or sold. Stallions are kept in the jump-offs, until I take them out, its different for each horse, but usually around 17-18yrs, but again they have to be jumping 87"+ by the time they are 12. Foundation horses are breed at the same age and follow the same rules as the others but the high-jump has a little more leeway, but my target for them is at least 85". I try not to get more than five active foals per horse at one time. If a foal is sold I don't count them towards my number though. Once a horse is done breeding they are usually retired, sometimes they are sold. Most horses sold are ones that don't meet requirements or if I have too many of certain lines.

But, that's not all, Rudel also dabbles in some other breeds to relieve some boredom, and to experiment with new ideas. Including Colorado Ranger Horses, Hanoverians and TBs. Also, there are a quite a few competition horses that go through this barn and may even be released back to the public if allowed. You can also go check out my TBs over at this barn, Rudel .
