I've been gone for over a year.
Needless to say I'm a little confused with the new Ponybox.

Maybe a stupid question but is there a guide anywhere I can read or something to figure out how everything works?

Jumping heights are really confusing me.
Used to be getting a horse jumping 73"-74" was fantastic.
Now I'm seeing so many heights way over that like it's the norm.

I don't get it.

Thanks in advance for any info.

~Spiffy

(oh and can someone point me in the direction of an updated item price list please? Thank ya)

There's not really a specific help guide, just stuff at the bottom of certain pages, but if you have any specific questions just message me and I'll try and help out the best I can! :D

Okay thanks guys :)

Is there any easy way to explain about the jump heights or easier to just get a horse and try and figure it out?
What's considered an average height?

Splash of Color     •  14,733 career posts 2253 days ago

Average jump depends on the breed. For TBs I'd say average is 80"ish but for example my Selle Francaises, the average would be around 76"/77". Times have definitely changed; I'd say horses jump higher now because of all the super horse blood. But I could be wrong :3

Natural horse jumps range from 72"- 83" I believe, depending on how strong the lines are. How well horses do seem to also depend on the person breeding them. Like in my barn, my mares ALWAYS do better than my stallions. Mine also seem to peak really late. Like a few will peak at 7-10 but most of them dont peak till 13-19. Once you know the breeding you are working with they seem to adjust to the person breeding them. My ITBs has two Natural 80"+ jumpers. And this is the first of my breeds to hit over 80" since before the jumpoff update.

And thank you Ajar and BMC, I appreciate the help.
I really should probably just get a horse or two and experiment.

Buy a rare breed, help bring back 20+ breeds.

Since the last two updates, many left due to difficult game-play.

I don't want to experiment on rare breeds first.
I know the two breeds I'll bring back again, but need to get the hang of things around the barn first.

I'm going to wait on getting any horses right now, but thank you guys for the offer, I appreciate it!

Chesy- Aw that's sad. Do you know if they're still active on DA?
And good to hear. I'm actually doing pretty good, have had a lot of hard things to deal with in the past year but things are really looking up now :)
