I like the idea of having mentors and I would be more than willing to mentor new players!
I'm on all the time right now, but that will decrease once school starts, although I will still be on everyday in the evenings.
I might also be interested in being part of the sponsor program once things are figured out a little more with it.
I think that one of the big things that needs to happen is the site needs to be promoted to pull new people into the game. I'm not sure how to go about it from our side though.

Thank you Silver :) I think you would make an awesome mentor. Of course, that's understandable.
Another post will be made with everything more clear for the sponsoring :)
I agree. The only thing we could do is to try to recruit people from our lives but I'm not sure if anyone I know would be interested so I wonder if its the same for everyone else as well. Most of us started at around 10 or 11. How did we find out about this site? I can't remember.

I'm pretty sure I saw an add in the back of a Young Rider magazine.
I feel like they just haven't been putting the money into marketing that they need to, and it's making everyone suffer because the game is pretty much dying because of it.

I would definitely be interested in being a mentor-I love the idea and have some level of experience with it (wasn't a mentor, but was a helper [basically answer all the questions and make sure people don't blow things up]).
As a general rule, I'm on daily, unless I'm without internet or still trying to fix my sleep schedule.
I joined initially because I saw a friend playing. When I rejoined, I had a desktop icon for PB, and noticed it looked different. Clicked on it, and joined again (PB3 that time). I don't know that I ever actually saw it advertised, beyond players advertising it on other sites (after I rejoined).

I use marquees for advertising, maybe you could get some cheap.
It stays up a whole week.
Real life advertising I found the site looking for online horse games. It popped up.
I think the age has altered over time. I'm no kid :) Though this site allows me some downtime.
Plus when I was a kid horse games didn't exist! The Internet wasn't like it is today.

Silver- You saw an ad for Ponybox in the magazine?? I've never seen one outside of like google before. I have seen this site on like top sim horse games or something like that.
I am interested in sponsoring and mentoring as well.
I think I just found this when looking for sim games online. This one is very different, at least from my experience because other ones you have a cartoon styled character and such or a map to explore. Maybe they could advertise the game on Facebook and such (like how they have the ad on the side of the screen).

I'm pretty sure there was an ad like 10 years ago in the back of a Young Rider. I can't remember if I had already joined at that point or if that is what caused me to join.

I would be up for being a mentor (from my main Padfoot I have no clue what barn in on)

Awesome :) Looks like I have about 5 mentors signed up at the moment? Any others interested?
I will be making a list and put it on the main barn page with everyone's link to their barn and maybe we can get a little mentor badge picture to put on everyone's barn page? Would everyone be okay with putting something on their barn page about mentoring?
I wish we could get more new people. It just doesn't seem like we do and sometimes if we do it seems like they leave before trying it out.

Thank you :) Sent everyone a message about mentoring. I will post an official post about the barn and mentors as soon as everything is squared away.
Updated:
Ponybox mentors are always open and willing to help out new and returning members by answering any and all questions! This is a new program that we are starting out and with the help of the wonderful Ponybox community, it will be great! A little description of the mentors will be posted under the name soon enough. The Names of each mentor are clickable buttons that will open up to that mentor's barn page, where you can easily send them a message.
