Shouldn't this colt be linebred?
DNE Al-miíraj

If you look at his pedigree, his grandsire on both sides is DNE Rocking Rodeo...

Wouldn't that make him linebred? Isn't that too close?
He, however, doesn't carry the linebred DNA.

So his offspring would have it? I'm confused.

Linebreeding DNA only occurs when you breed a horse with another horse that already exists in it's pedigree.

Weird.... I thought that too, but then again I accidentally bred two horses with the same sire and didn't get it. How strange O.O

Hm I thought it was any horse in the pedigree more than once within two generations got it.

Iím my experience, linebred bred DNA only shows when you breed a horse to its sire/dam or grand site/dam
Siblings to sibling doesnít get it, nor distant cousins

You would think so but from what I've notice is the linebred DNA doesn't show up unless there is multiple generations. I goofed and bred brother and sister together without any ill effects
