I challenge you to write down 3 good things that happened to you today.
When things become familiar or adapt to our routine in our lives we start taking events, people, and/or privileges for granted. Although there is no sure course to happiness; taking time at the end of the day to write down 3 good things that happened that day will help us become a little more grateful and compassionate to ourselves and people around us.
If you wish to participate just this once, feel free to but, also feel free to continue this thread.
3 Good Things
1.) I got to see the guy I am dating on his lunch break. Even though he wasn't able to come over tonight for my dinner, s'mores, and board game date, I am happy I saw him today.
2.) I went to the gym today and had a rewarding workout. Being active and feeling happy while it is raining constantly is hard for me.
3.) I went outside on my patio and whittled today while listening to some piano and Johnny Cash. Happy to get back into whittling, forgot how much I love to do it.
