Thanks! Yeah, I'm leaning towards a strong under lit look now. Been playing around with colours and colour intensity of the auroras, but might not go too extreme as I want Moony's bay to show in order for it to represent him still.

I think it would make it super Dynamic to use some lighting mostly underneath and then the rest coming from the auroras behind and really play off those colors in the highlights especially in the hair would really tie the piece together and make it look super pulled together I guess I don't know

Thanks for the suggestion! Yeah, that was my main leaning. Do you think where the light hits should be super darkly contrasted or not really? I might play around with it a bit. Its odd doing lighting for a space piece!

I'd make it underlit but have some light appear to come from the nebulas and the hooves. You'd have some green over the back, with blue lighting on the face and pinkish-purple on the stomach, for example.
