Thank you! The lighting ended up being quite fun to play with - just a shame I ended up having to re-do it so many times *head desk*

Thank you! She seems to really love it, which made me happy to hear!
Haha, its mix of a lot of scribble painting, smudging, layers (so many layers), layer modes, curves, RGB, gradient maps, and of course patience. Haha. Hopefully I'll find time to make a tutorial somewhat soon!

I am sure it meant a lot to her!
I find that I need to work on my patience the most. *rolls eyes*
After about two hours I get annoyed when I realize I am just now finishing smudging the horse xD

Haha, it is a pain. I always end up doing a bit of art, then a bit of something else, bit of art, bit of something else. Thus each step takes ageeesss. strangely enough I feel if I just sat there and did it, it would take less time overall as I wouldn't be double checking stuff constantly XD
Patience is indeed a virtue. A virtue I struggle with :P

Just gonna put a lil' statement here as now had quite a few inquiries on the topic:
CUSTOMS/COMMISSIONS: Right now I'm closed to them as very busy with my studies. In early/mid June I'll be opening them up. Probably a limited number will be available for ponybucks/credits. I'll make a forum post stating when they open up and likely put the slots for bid.
