Ok when I first bred him his sire hadn't had any foals and now had 5.5 pages of them. I tend to like my studs that I breed to to have no more than 4 pages of active foals as I'm afraid the line gets over populated. With that being said would anyone even consider breeding to my Super from him with his sire having so many offspring or should I just retire him now?
I'm hoping he does well because he is a tribute super and I'd really hate to retire him but it really frustrates me when there is over breeding in a line. I try to stay away from over bred lines in all my horses I breed. If he does well then I'll have him set as stud randomly to keep him from being over bred. My other super thankfully is from fresh older foundies that never really had a chance so at least I still have one super that will be a decent stud if he gets where I want him, but I worry about Fire.
Well I didn't put Machine up for so cheap to prevent him from being bred to.
I put him up for so cheap to make better horses more available for new/returning players.
I, in no way, expected him to have a low foal count because his fee was so low.
