Good Morning :)
I love your Barn Name, Atwood is very close to my last name, Atwell.
Welcome to PonyBox!
You will get allot of generous greetings, as we Love to see new players join the game.
I'm OMW to work, so I'm not able to go into detail about the game.
But will be around for questions, or assistance.
I'm sending a care package to help get you started out.
Make sure to check your Pony Buck Account.

I know we've got a bunch of nice tutorials floating around, so I won't try to go into too much, but feel free to ask any questions you have! Everyone here is really nice and always excited to see some new people around. :)

I came back to the game after a long hiatus recently, so I had to rebuild basically from zero. A couple things I learned:

1) Everything is super expensive right now, so start small and work your way up, and don't be too discouraged when people are bidding 10x as much as your total ponybucks. You'll get there!

2) Rare breeds are fun (and I've got some dragonhorses if you're interested), but when you're just figuring out the game, it's easier to stick to more common breeds that come with the advantages of 5-star registries (really improves their jumping) and lines proven to jump decently. That way you'll have more success and get more income for other projects.

3) Things to check on your new horses to maximize their success: get them on carrot juice feed (requires an item, but they're usually pretty cheap), make sure they are in 5 registries with as many stars as you can, check their training level (and if you're maxed out, get them in co training at another barn). DNA is really important when you're choosing horses, but if you can get ahold of items, you can always improve it later.
