I would suggest not breeding any horses that carry any linebred DNA. I may have some waterhorse foals I could part with tomorrow but only want to send them out to breeders who stay away from any linebreeding.

If it says linebred active no.
Does that mean it was and you risk it being passed through?
I don't want to linebreed.

yes, if there is any linebred dna there it means the horse has it in their past, if its passive it doesn't hurt performance but for the most part it is not something people want to see either way.

Thanks.
Will avoid breeding if I see it. I have got a few with it, but just to see how I like the breed, they all restricted.

After 3 generations it should then remove itself unless you were to line breed again based on what I've been told.

If you aren't planning to sell then its not a major worry but like turn said its not something people want to see.
