so its working out for you okayy?? i love the extra poll pressure that it gives me, lu deff. gets reminded that i'm still up there and incontrol of the wheel. it is a very smart invention. and i love that i can ride with slack in the reins then if i need to half halt just pull slightly on it.

same here Foxie, I have a happy mouth pelham (little bit softer than the normal/black ones) but I prefer those to a jointed pelham. I've tryed a wonder bit with gives about the same pressure as the pelham poll wise but can either have a single or double joint. I found Lu avoided my half halts and rushed (combination of mental and physical). I think the pelham feels softer in the mouth by not having those joints poking around. but gives that consistant feeling because it lies flat steadily, no matter what you do with the reins. I guess it doesnt shock them as much when you do apply pressure because they know its there?? Does that make any sense??? haha probally not, but I think I've tryed 10 bits with Lu and thats what I've come up with. This is just me rambbling :]]

gorgeous horse, not sure if you are riding in any particular style, but i'd say that that would make a very nice hunter position, youre following the motion very well.

The one thing that erks me is that you have your hands facing down, you should keep em thumbs up, it gives you better control:)

White Brook
You're leaning forward a bit too much. You should just lean back and pull your leg back a but too. That would help more, but other then that I love the picture.

I envy your EQ. I know that you dominate in EQ classes. I would be very scared to be against you in one XD

Cante, I don't know what your talking about but you can have a taut with light contact, and I think her reins are fine. She does have great equitation, perfect eq for hunters and jumpers.
