Schooling Choc over the bigger jumps - between 1m and Two Star. :)
Down the raised drop like a pro - and with her eyes half closed, to boot. XD I love my horse. |

Polo the Weirdo
MOD
Over a drop fence, yes - otherwise you collapse down on your horse's neck, which puts too much weight on their front legs. So you could unbalance them and cause them to stumble... Plus, it throws your centre of balance off so much that you'll often fall off... XD Being a showjumper, it's taking me a while to get into the habit of sitting up... Haha!

Polo the Weirdo
MOD
If you're just jumping a pole, there's no need to sit up - only down a drop. :) When jumping on the flat, just let the movement of the horse take you. lean forward as they go up, and resume your seat as they land. :P Just ride from feel - that's always the best way to go - otherwise you sit there like a log trying to look perfect, meanwhile you're so stiff that you just bounce off. XD Haha!
