Mac my Quarter horse after a busy day of riding. We spend a few hours midday doing sheep work- during which he had a more than fantastic time trotting about after the lambs, and later, we went for our daily trail ride at sunset.
He performed so well today, I was very proud of his trotting especially which felt very controlled. He has a tendency to gradually increase his trotting pace, until its edging a canter- in the hope I won't notice his sneakyness! But today he worked very well at a constant pace and made no attempt at speeding up. He's improving so very well, what a clever boy I have! |
