Murphy and me on a funride back in May. I hadn't hardly jumped him before I brought him on this funride, and he was following in these photos (When he's following he tries to jump at a gallop xD) so that's why I'm hanging onto him a bit. We've gotten to know each other better now so I don't tend to hang onto his mouth so much any more.

Polo: Well I'm sure I'd miss the man who took me over a 3'9" hedge for the fist time, but if you want, you can borrow him and make him a super show jumper for me xD

You look nice, but here's a few tips that pretty much every jumper-in-training need to work on (including me)! Try to sink your heels a bit lower and push you knees forward and squeeze there- then lift up your behind a bit to help your horse's balance. (Yes, I know it's super hard over 4ft jumps but it will get easier!) Also, straighten your arms a tad and release on the bit which will also help his balance especially when you start jumping 5-6ft+! One more thing, roll your shoulders back a bit! (That one gets everyone XD!) What helps is riding on the flat with a crop in front of you elbow and behind your back (sorry, it's hard to explain over type) and if you do it enough, shoulders back will come naturally without the crop! Good luck! =] You and your horse have great potential!

Hey Phantom, thanks for all the critique, it's really welcome. My position's improved a heck of a lot since then thanks to lots of dressage work :P Also, my hands are horrendous here because I'd hardly every jumped him before so I was getting used to his awesome "head drop" he does over a fence :L
