He is gorgeous! My friend's horse Aimee was diagnosed with EPM about 2 years ago and she is perfectly fine now. The vets say she is pretty much cured even though they didn't catch it until very late. They gave her a 50% chance of living and now she jumps 3' courses. The only left over effects are that she drags her hind legs a bit at the trot. But she still gets 70s on dressage tests! And I hope he gets well soon!

So was the EPM fairly bad when you found out? Hope his treatment is going well.
We've got a gelding where I work who was just tested positive for EPM, but we're guessing he wasn't exposed to the... opposum dropping hay (our guess) too long before purchased. He's been on treatment about a week now.

thats sinks. we thought my aunts horse had EPM, but she didnt.when she was with her prevoius owner she somehow fracture her hip bone.
