Buenos Aires Equine Cruelty
 By Winniefield Park   •   28th Sep 2019   •   241 views   •   0 comments

The Canadian Horse Defence Coalition, has been provided with video of dying, emaciated and dead horses in a pasture near Buenos Aires by their partners Tierschutzbund and The Animal Welfare Foundation. The 400+ horses, destined for slaughter in European Union approved and participants of the “Respectful Life” of the Belgian Meat Federation slaughterhouses, belong to a trader with a long criminal record and reputation for dealing in stolen horses.

TSB/AWF and the Eurogroup for Animals are demanding a suspension of horse meat originating in Uruguay and Argentina following years of trading stolen horses and similar animal cruelty. And, the CHDC asks that the video of the horses be shared to raise awareness of the situation.
