Two Sisters Complete Ride Across Canada

Two sisters have completed a ride across Canada. The journey began in 2017 in Mahone Bay on the east coast of the province of Nova Scotia, and two years later, ended in Crescent Beach in Surrey, British Columbia. They took 250 days to span the continent, splitting the ride between two summers. The second leg of their journey took them from Sault St. Marie, Ontario, to the west coast of B.C.

The goal of the ride was to raise funds for the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides. The girls rode 12 hours a day, sometimes through inclement weather. Including an uncomfortably close lightning strike, and along busy urban highways. The eldest of the sisters, now 25, has dreamed of making the journey since she was nine.
