Horse Yoga
 By Winniefield Park   •   8th Dec 2019   •   294 views   •   0 comments

Exercising on horseback isnít new. Itís often part of beginner riding lessons to bend, stretch and balance in the saddle. And, itís not a bad idea for any rider to limber up before a ride. Equestrian yoga too, isnít uncommon, as a way to build flexibility, balance and strength and itís thought to help build connection and confidence. A horse yoga session may be as simple as performing traditional yoga poses on a platform in a tranquil horse pasture. But, non-riders are also enjoying horse yoga - traditional yoga practices on the back of a horse rather than on a mat. Ready for savasana on horseback? You might want to try horse yoga.
