Manatee Country Horse Deaths
 By Winniefield Park   •   8th Mar 2020   •   102 views   •   0 comments

In another part of Florida, horse owners are on the alert after several very disturbing incidences. Earlier this year surveillance video was released by the Manatee County Sheriff's office that showed a person stealing a horse. The horse in the video was later found dead, having been slaughtered for meat. A horse at a nearby farm suffered the same fate weeks earlier. Most recently, a woman woke upon hearing her dogs barking. When later she went to her barn she found horses with ropes around their necks and circuit breakers in the barn switched off. Local horse owners in three counties have created a Facebook page to help keep track of any suspicious details, and one owner is offering a substantial reward for information leading to an arrest.
