Wild horses and burros continue to be available to the public with a $1000 incentive. The horses and burros, removed from public land by the BLM, are being offered for adoption and the incentive should help new owners with the costs of relocating, caring for and training the animals. Adoption applicants need to have approved fencing and shelter, and be willing to train a wild horse or burro. The animals available at are a variety of ages and applications may be made online. Up to four horses may be adopted at one time. Adoption and sales events take place throughout the year.
