PonyBox Oldest Barns
 By Winniefield Park   •   22nd Mar 2020   •   149 views   •   0 comments
The Ponybox game foaled in 2001 and since then there have been a lot of changes. Servers have crashed, the rules have evolved. And many of the oldest barns have disappeared, or morphed into newer establishments as the game has changed. That makes it hard to identify the absolutely oldest barns still playing in the game. But amongst the current top 100 barns there exist a few that have been around for a very long time.

One of the oldest barns in the top 100 is Wildflower Stables. Wildflower Stables joined December 21, 2005. This barn has 41,651,060 PB in career earnings and is currently ranked 68 out of the top 100. Of this, 36,235,550 PB is in jump off earnings. The barn has almost 50 horses in jump offs and is currently standing two stallions, Brome a Selle Francais and the Thoroughbred On The Go. While mainly campaigning TBs, Selle Francais is an important part of the breeding program and a Unicorn also rounds out the stable.

Irish Thoroughbreds are the main focus of this stable, with a few French Trotters thrown in. The stable has earned 29,585,046 PB with most of that earned in jump offs. Niwik has three Irish Throughbreds stallions standing at stud: Golden Limits, Golden Opportunity, Silver Hand and a French Trotter, Hidden Ghost.

With 35,022,863 PB in earnings, Willow Oaks, who joined on December 25, 2005, campaigns an interesting mix of Welsh Pony and Cobs, Arabians, and Irish Thoroughbreds. Top horse SG Forsaken Puma is an Arabian mare with a best jump of 84.25 and winnings of 237,400 PB. Willow Oaks is standing all three breeds at stud and has about 60 competing in jump offs.
