Horse That Survived Kentucky Horse Shooting Foals Healthy Pinto
 By Winniefield Park   •   3rd Jul 2020   •   218 views   •   0 comments

You might remember a story from early last winter about twenty horses in Eastern Kentucky that were shot and killed. The few survivors were taken to Kentucky Humane Society’s Willow Hope Farm to regain their health and eventually be rehomed. It has not been discovered who or why the horse herd members were shot. One horse that survived the ordeal was in foal and in a happy ending for the story, now has a pinto foal by its side. The mare and foal will be offered for adoption and the rehabilitators are looking for suggestions for naming the foal.
