The Spectacular Hats of the Kentucky Derby

Not all the excitement during the Kentucky Derby celebrations happen on the track. There are many traditions surrounding the Run for the Roses. The name comes from the blanket of roses draped over the shoulders of the winning horse. The traditional food is Benedictine sandwiches. And itís been called the greatest two minutes in sports. But, part of the pageantry is the spectators themselves. People go to see and be seen. And what better way to be seen than by wearing a spectacular hat. Hereís a minute and sixteen of slo-mo millinery magnificence caught in the Derby crowds.
