Now, 40 years later at the age of 80, riding her quiet horse Diamond and packing along her with special needs dog Dinky, she rides about 25km a day from her home near Cumberland to her destination near Inverness. In recognition of her inspirational spirit, she has been awarded the Exceptional Achievement Award from the British Horse Society and is truly a role model to us all.
