🐴 PonyBox Top Stables Kasch and CreatureComforts
|
|
Top stables for the Ides of March were Kasch Stables and CreatureComforts. CreatureComforts was the #1 ranked stable before being edged out by Kasch Stables. CreatureComforts is a relatively new stable, having been established towards the last quarter of December 2021. However, it is the offshoot of an older stable, Phantom established December of 2007. Both of these stables specialize in rare breeds. Breeds from the Phantom stable are the Dongola, Qatgani, Iomud and Pixie Belle. Hungarian Warmblood, Missouri Fox Trotting Horse, Paso Fino and Selle Francais are the specialties of CreatureComforts although they have campaigned a few Thoroughbreds and Quarter Horses.
The #1 ranking of CreatureComforts, a top breeder of Hungarian Warmbloods, was in part due to stallions CC Witches Brew, CC Sky Rise, CC Red Forest, CC Ruling Supreme and CC Standing Ovation, who all stood in the top 100 rankings. Witches Brew and Sky Rise both rose to the top ten. Highest jumping horse was CC Rising Con who cleared 101 inches. Stallion CC Sky Rise distinguished himself as the stable’s top earning horse with 2,127,550 PB.
Kasch Stables breeds Thoroughbreds, Moyles, Kladrubys and in the past French Trotters. They have earned the Top Breeder award for Thoroughbreds. Top career horses include * Art of Rain *, a Thoroughbred mare and Rahab, a Moyle bred by BMC General Store. With nine horses in the top 100 rankings, TB stallion * Starry Prince * took the #1 rank before slipping to 2nd. Starry Prince also joins a handful of horses who have cleared 104 inches. At age 16 he earned 2,182,100 PB, and had a best streak of 528 straight wins.
Kasch Stable was started in December of 2008 and since has earned winnings of 57,937,417 PB. Kasch Stables 2, a project started in September of 2009, also breeds Campolinas and has dabbled in other breeds such as Paints, Shetlands and Tennessee Walking Horses.
