Can we have an award for Best Comeback? At the age of 20, the Standardbred stallion 3Pa *Avast, Ye Myth again captured the #1 ranking. Out of the PythonPonyPalaces, Avast, Ye Myth first earned the #1 spot at age 13 after jumping to the #12 position from 11,031 as a 9-year-old back in April. He also earned Highest Jump with a 104.25 inch effort and bested his own Best Streak record of 3,670 consecutive wins that put him on the leaderboard, adding an additional 4,147 consecutive wins for a total lifetime win streak of 7,817. He also tripled his jump-off earnings.
Avast, Ye Myth was not alone on the leaderboard this time around, with two other horses taking Best Streak and Highest Jump. The Best Streak was taken by stablemate 3Pa *James Brown* with 7,986 consecutive jump-off wins. The 19-year-old also took the top rank and had a highest jump of 104.75 inches earning 17,685,850 PB.
James Brown is by 81st generation stallion 3Pd *James Dean* whose dam is the famous #1 ranked mare * Dementor. His dam is 37th generation mare 3Pa *Bay Bullet* who has several top-ranked horses in her pedigree including 3Pxy *Living Legend. He was foaled March 9, 2023 with perfect conformation. He was itemed with Saddle Bags and Diamond Saddles, a Lucky Charm and a Companion Dog.
Highest Jump was achieved by *Berry Cheesecake with a 104.5 inch effort. She too reached the #1 rank and had a jump-off record of 8,327 - 202. At 15 years old she earned 12,808,697 PB for owner & breeder BMC General Store. This 16.3-hand Moyle mare had a best jump of 105 inches and is one of 2 Moyles in the top 10 rankings. She’s by 86th generation sire GS Serpents Songs and 101 generation dam GS Savage Alliance. She was itemed with Saddle Bags and Lucky Saddles, a Lucky Charm and Two Stirrups. Her records show she earned Non-retired World Record Breed Jump and Best in Show.
